Introduction –

Many people have just heard the name Pomodoro, but actually it is called as a Pomodoro technique or method, which is a kind of a time management method and it is based on 25 minutes stretches of concentrated work in which one can take a 5 minutes break. Longer breaks can also be taken, especially from 15 to 30 minutes in 4 consecutive intervals of work. So, every work interval is known as pomodoro. Pomodoro is actually an Italian word which is used for tomato and the plural is known as Pomodori. Pomodoro technique or Pomodoro was developed by a popular developer and entrepreneur Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. He developed this technique when he was a student in the university and in the kitchen, he used a tomato shaped timer to set up his study timings or schedule.

Distinct Experimentations –

In the beginning, Francesco experimented with distinct work breaks, beginning with 2 minutes and stretching them up to 1 hour. Then, he quickly understood that these were taking too long to stay concentrated on a task. Next, he established on a 25-minute Pomodoro or Pomodori as the best time for his requirements.
